Adjustment on Minimum Wage in Shenzhen

The minimum wage standard in Shenzhen will have a sharp increase from July 1, 2006. The Labor and Social Security Bureau held a press conference on May 30 and announced Shenzhen's minimum wage standard for the year 2006:

The minimum hourly rate within the Special District is RMB4.66 or monthly RMB810. A 17.4% increase comparing to 2005 figure.

For the two districts outside the Special District - Baoan and Longhua - the minimum hourly and monthly wages are RMB4.02 and RMB700 respectively. A 20.7% increase comparing to 2005 figure.

Allowances for special working conditions such as overtime, night-shift, high and low temperature, work under a well, exposure to poisonous substances, will not be included into the minimum wage.

The above 2006 minimum wage is effective from July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007.

深圳調整最低工資水平

深圳市最低工資標準將從７月１日起有大幅提高。市勞動和社會保障局5月３０日舉行新聞通報會，公佈深圳２００６年度最低工資標準：　　
（一）特區內最低工資為4.66元/小時；810元/月，比2005年度增長17.4%
（二）特區外寶安、龍崗兩區最低工資為：4.02元/小時；700元/月，比2005年度增長20.7%
加班工資，夜班、高溫、低溫、井下、有毒有害等特殊工作條件下的補助是不包含在最低工資裏的。
　2006年度最低工資的執行時間?2006年7月1日至2007年6月30日。
