U.S. Department Of State Adjust The Visa Application Fee

With accordance to the related regulation stipulated in the "Consolidated General Appropriations Act, 2005", the application fee for US emigration visa has been increased by US$45 that reached to a total sum of US$380. In addition, with a view to prevent the fake L-1 visa (working visa for the staff appointed from Multi-National Corporations) and H-1B visa (working visa for short-term professionals), the department has also added an identification fee of US$500. Such fee should be paid to US Department of Homeland Safety during the first application or new employment for existing applicants. The new standard will be effective from 08 March 2005.

根據《2005年綜合撥款法案》的有關規定，赴美國移民類簽證費將加收45美元手續費，整個移民收費將達到380美元。另外，針對跨國公司調派人員工作簽證(L-1)和從事指定專業職業的短期專業工人工作簽證(H-1B)增加了500美元的"作假行為防範與識別費"，該收費由申請人提交申請或更換雇主時向美國國家安全部繳納。新標準將於2005年3月8日生效。
