Amendment to Macao SAR's Offshore Law

 
The Macao SAR's Offshore Law has been amended effective June 14, 2005. The number of allowed categories of Offshore Service Business will be reduced from twenty to eight, as listed below:-

1) Hardware consultant
2) Software consultant
3) Data processing
4) Data base related activities
5) Back offices
6) Research and development activities
7) Tests and technical analysis
8) Management and administration of ships and aircraft

The following categories of Offshore Service Businesses no longer allowed
1) Commercial and service agents 2) Overseas selling activities 3) Management and business consultant 4) Accounting, audit and fiscal consultant

The above restriction of permitted activities limited to eight categories will not apply to those MOC applications previously submitted or approved.

獲准從事離岸商業及輔助服務業務類別現正修訂如下:

1. 資訊設備顧問
2. 資訊顧問及程式編寫
3. 數據處理
4. 數據庫業務
5. 行政及檔案支援業務
6. 研究及開發業務
7. 技術試驗及分析業務
8. 船隻及航空器經營及管理服務

以上規定於二零零五年六月十四日生效，不再獲准從事離岸商業及輔助服務業務類別包括 1) 商業代辦及中介服務 2) 遙距售賣業務 3) 會計、審計及稅務顧問業務 4) 貿易及管理顧問業務。

以上規定並不影響於此批示生效前向澳門貿易投資促進局遞交的申請，亦不影響原先已獲許可的業務。
