Increase The Minimum Wages In Shenzhen Area

Starting from 01 July 2005, the minimum wages level in Shenzhen area will be increased to RMB690 (increased by RMB80) within the special region and RMB580 (increased by RMB100) outside the special region respectively. After the above adjustment, the minimum wages level in Shenzhen Special Economic Region will become the highest in China. The two major amendments are:

1) Implementation period - 01 July 2005 to 30 June 2006
2) Monthly wages to be calculated as 21.75 days per month

從2005年7月1日起深圳將實施新的最低工資標準，特區內每月690元，比現行標準提高80元；特區外每月580元，比現行標準提高100元。調整後的深圳特區內最低工資水平將在全國各省市中居第一位。此次調整出現了兩個明顯變化：一是執行時間為2005年7月1日至2006年6月30日，二是月工資按21.75天折算。
