According to the announcement of National Bureau of Statistics of
China, the GDP of PRC has been increased sharply in 2006. The increases
are mainly in:
1 There is a steady
growth in the National Product. In the upper half year, the total
domestic production value is RMB9144.3 billion which has been increased
by 10.9%.
2 Rapid increase in
the investment in fixed assets. In the upper half year, the total
fixed assets investment is RMB4237.1 billion which has been increased
by 29.8% when compare to the same period of last year. However,
in order to maintain steady economic growth, it is necessary to
prevent over investment in fixed assets and implement macro control.
3 Steady growth in consumption
demand. In the upper half year, the total consumption is RMB3644.8
billion which has been increased by 13.3% (actual increase 12.4%,
exclude price element) when compare to the same period of last year.
The aptitude of increase is largest in the following industries:
wholesales and retail industry, accommodation and beverage industry,
telecommunication tools, gasoline, vehicle sales.
4 Rapid increase in
import. In the upper year, the total foreign direct investment is
USD88.5 billion which has been increased by 2.7% when compare to
the same period of last year. In end of June, the national foreign
reserve is USD941.1 billion which has been increased by USD122.2
billion when compare to the beginning of year.
