Regulations on registration of company name in Shanghai City

Applicable Area: Shanghai City’s Administrative Area

Company Name: composite of the administrative zone, industry or business nature and the organization form of company.

Application for Registration: Applicants should submit “Pre-approval form for Application of Enterprise Name” signed by all investors.

Acceptance of Registration: (1) verifying application information, (2) registration authorities should decide whether to accept or refuse the application on site.

Effective period: If the pre-approved enterprise name has not been used within the lawful reservation period, it will become void.

1、 適用範圍：本市行政區域
2、 企業名稱：由行政區劃、字型大小、行業或者經營特點、組織形式組成。
3、 申請登記：申請人應當提交由發起人或者全體投資人簽署的企業名稱預先核准申請書。
4、 受理登記：(1)申請材料進行核實,(2)登記機關應當當場作出核准或者駁回的決定
5、 名稱失效：准登記註冊的企業名稱在法律、行政法規規定的保留期屆滿後尚未用於企業設立的，該名稱自動失效
